This is one of the nicesvery helpfult place in Broward County. Very clean and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Close to many restaurants and shopping malls (Sawgrass and Dolphin). The beach is very well taken care off, and lifeguard is i\almost in front of resort. I definetely recommend it as top notch.

My husband and I go to Hollywood frequently and the Hollywood Sands is where we MUST stay! We have stayed there quite a few times now. The rooms are fully loaded with everything you need and very clean and the staff is extremely welcoming, pleasant and really go out of their way to make your stay that much more enjoyable! =)

I have been going to the Hollywood Sands every year since I was very young with my family and friends. We have loved it more each and every year! It's in a perfect location, right on the beach and the boardwalk. We have purchased a room over the years, and it has been great! The staff is fantastic, they are very nice, and they care about you and your stay at their resort. It's a wonderful place for families with kids from babies to teenagers, it's a very kid friendly environment. The pool and hot tub are very nice and convenient. The rooms are great they can fit a family, and they have very nice kitchenettes. We have met many friends at the Sands, its been the best. We have absolutely no complaints! My family and i will be going again this year, and we cant wait!

I went with my husband on a long weekend getaway - from the minute we arrived - it was wonderful - we parked our car and didn't need to use it til we left - centrally located, but our accommodations were outstanding the staff - WONDERFUL- the view - EXQUISITE - would highly recommend this resort and cannot wait til we return! Go and enjoy!

The Hollywood Sands is a great place. The kitchen has all up-to-date amenities you would want. It is clean and quite spacious for vacationing. There was a king size bed in the bedroom and a Murphy pull-out bed for our daughter. Both were quite comfortable.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The office has brochures and information for tourists. There is an attractive heating swimming pool and a hot tub. We didn't use either because it was too cold out for us. The kids who used the pool seemed to have a good time. The water in the pool was warm. The location is right on the boardwalk next to the Marriott. The price was fair and I would highly recommend the facility.

I'm going to make this place a yearly must! The staff is so friendly, there is always great coffee in the lobby, and it is right on the beach. Once here you can walk everywhere. The beach is beautiful and amazing restaurants are right on the boardwalk. I've seen Italian, Greek, Sushi, Mexican, ect. Also, if you have children there are parks a trolley ride($1) away. There is live music nightly at a few places and an amphitheater with programs( my husband and I danced to big band music last night)
The resort rooms are beautiful, functional(mirrors everywhere so easy to get ready)beds are comfortable(not a pull out couch but a pull down from wall bed in livingroom) and kitchen is fully equipped.

Situated right on the beach, the Hollywood Sands Resort is a comfortable and homey ecape from he big-box resorts. The location is perfect for anyone's desires, be they gastronomic, shopping, working on your beach body, or sun worshipping. The Sands sits right on the broadwalk so look before stepping out or a mom driving a jogging stroller or a fast moving two wheeler migt ruin your day before it really gets stared! The beach is roughly 20 feet from the front door and there is a fresh water pool and hot tub to boot. The rooms are comfortable and vary is sizes. TheSands is a time share resort so call early for best availability. We thoroughly enjoyed our escape and look forwad to returning to our new favorite respite.

If you are traveling to Hollywood Beach, look no further. This was our 4th time to the area but our first time at TheHollywood Sands. We rented the two-bedroom condo facing the ocean. (There is only the one two bedroom). The unit we had is located on the main floor facing the Ocean. You literally open the door onto the boardwalk. The other door off the second bedroom opens to the pool. We were traveling with a 1 and 3 yr. old, so at naptime we were able to sit right off the bedroom (by the pool) and know that the kids were safely sleeping in earshot less then 6 ft. away. I would just leave the screan door open and actually get to enjoy an hour or two of quiet still in the sun. The unit was very spacious and the kids loved the pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The best part about staying at a resort / condo like this is the people you seem to meet there. Everyone was super friendly and you felt safe to leave your things out all day and night. They even have an area where past guests leave chairs, beach toys, umbrellas; pool floats for future guests if they don’t have room to take it home with them. We slept with the windows open and the brease fom the ocean is to die for. Hollywood beach is a great spot for families. You can eat and play all day on the beach and boardwalk. We always rent a car for day trips, but if you just want to chill on the beach there is plenty to do within walking distance. The new splash park for the kids was a big hit this year. Its about 1/2 mile down the boardwalk need the band shell. There is also a new trolley that takes you to the downtown area. There are a bunch of great restaurants there and lots more stuff for the kids. We loved the free fair that they set up at Young Circle for the kids. I think they do it every Friday. Anyway Hollywood Sands is perfect if you need a kitchen and separate living space. We have stayed next door at the Marriott as well and while it might be a bit more modernized, the convenience of a unit with a kitchen ,living room 2 bed and two bathrooms is a family must. The Sands accommodations are a bit dated and you can see that it is a older hotel, but it wads clean, friendly and safe and the location is a 10! We will be back 4 sure.

I have been coming here for years. I recommend it to everyone I know. It is clean, comfortable and the staff is kind, friendly, helpful, they go above and beyond for anything you need. You have full kitchens that are fully equipped. The bathrooms are clean, beautiful and brand new. I sleep so well when I am here. You are right on the beach. You walk a few feet and you are standing on one of the most pristine beaches in Florida. It is on a boardwalk that in Hollywood they refer to it as the "BROADWALK". You can take long walks, bike, rollerblade, or eat at one of the many restaurants it has to offer. It does not matter if you are here with family, as a couple, by yourself, with friends or on business, it is, in my opinion the best and only place to stay! I love it here!
